The Service
We offer translation services for technical documents that support our mission of ending hunger, improving nutrition and food safety, and protecting the environment. These documents may include concept notes, proposals, reports, draft contracts, resumes, cover letters, etc., and should not exceed 2000 words. Our operational languages are English, French, Portuguese, and Spanish. Using our translation services, you can ensure your writing is technically sound, and polished, making it more impactful for your audience.
Why are our services unique?
Translation refers to conveying the meaning of something from one language to another. Here’s a breakdown of what our translation entails:
- Converting Meaning: The core idea is to take the message from a source language (e.g., French) and express it accurately in a target language (e.g., English).
- Nuance and Accuracy: Our translation goes beyond simply swapping words. It considers the cultural context, tone, and intent of the original message to deliver an equivalent experience in the target language.
- Human and Machine: Our translations are carried out by human experts proficient in both languages and subject matter, complemented by machine translation. Human oversight is essential as translation tools may struggle with nuances and complex phrasings.

Terms and conditions
Please be aware that our terms and prices may change without notice. As a user, you can decline our invoice and cancel any service contract. Furthermore, we reserve the right to decline a job for various reasons, such as difficulties in understanding the writing, high demand for our services at that time, or unavailability of our translators. If this occurs, we will promptly notify you before payment so you can find alternative translators or wait until our services are available again.
Process
Translation services follow a five-step process:
Step 1: Quote: Send the document via the website and get a quote through your email address;
Step 2: Payment: Pay the total fee and get a receipt;
Step 3: Translation: An expert translates your document;
Step 4: Review and Revision: You will have a chance to review the translated document and decide whether to accept it, reject it, or suggest further changes; and
Step 5: Final Version: If necessary, the editor will send you the final version in two formats (Word and PDF).
