Potato Post-Harvest Management

Why This Course?
A recent study by the International Potato Center in Cameroon revealed that post-harvest losses (PHL) for the ware potato could be as high as 19%, while for seed potatoes, it can reach up to 29%. Because of this, ZeroHunger Consulting (ZEHUCO) believes crop post-harvest management is just as crucial as production in achieving the Second Sustainable Development Goal (SDG2) to End Hunger by 2030.
Hence, this course addresses the factors causing the potato post-harvest losses in the Global South, focusing on ware potatoes to increase food availability.
